Following the public tender issued by Brescia Museums Foundation, it is entrusted to A & R the task of realizing the 12 cabinets in a special anti-reflective glass that are going to fit in the new rooms in the renewed building Martinengo in Brescia, reorganized through a new path exhibition in twenty rooms.
Since the beginning of February, staff activities are concentrated on this important order. The planned opening date is in fact very close: 17 March the Gallery will reopen to the public after nine years of closure and finally the works return to their historic home.
Our cabinets host of collectibles of four to five as bronzes, ivories and ceramics, besides the famous Stendando of Orzinuovi, beautiful painting on canvas by the Brescia painter Vincenzo Foppa of the early ‘500.
The cabinets made in our laboratory of Molinetto of Mazzano (Brescia – Italy), are made of steel and anti reflective glass. The visual impact of the showcases will be minimal thanks to special design features: the steel used only for the base, then without the use of vertical uprights, in spite of the considerable height of the showcases. Also the glass used of highest level, not only in terms of transparency and anti-reflection, all plates in fact will be stratified and tempered for an absolute guarantee of safety.
