Conservatorio G Verdi di Torino – Gallery of musical instruments 2003/2004

Supply and installation of a showcase system for the preparation of the “instrument gallery”, for the conservation and exhibition of a collection of musical instruments of the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory of Music of Turin.

The collection of musical instruments, largely restored and exhibited in such a way as to enhance their characteristics and for safety for their conservation. A precious document of the city’s musical life and the history of the Conservatory includes 130 pieces signed by great names of violin making Piedmontese between the 19th and 20th centuries. The collection hoasts some important ancient violins of the author, including the Stradivari “Mond” violin of 1709. Source
